Film Extensions

Our SMT Film Extensions helps prevent component waste when loading SMT carrier tape into a pick-and-place feeder. It is used to extend the cover tape, allowing seamless use of both full reels and shorter tape sections with no loss.

• Adds 380mm (15") of starter cover film to component reels for smooth loading
• Durable adhesive ensures a secure connection between the extension and the original film
  
• Available in two width variants: 8mm and 12mm, each compatible with their respective carrier tape sizes
