LumenPnP Control Box

The LumenPnP Control Box is an all-in-one controller for the LumenPnP Pick and Place machine. It contains the motherboard and the complete pneumatics system.

The pneumatics system features a solenoid valve, vacuum pump, and high precision vacuum sensor per toolhead – which let the LumenPnP know exactly when it has picked a component.

The included motherboard is better than ever before! Two notable big changes are:

• Integrated stepper drivers – for higher currents, better heat dissipation, and even faster motion
• Completely engineered power electronics for improved reliability

Packing all these systems into the Control Box led to many improvements:

• The staging plate is almost entirely freed up – so strip feeders and board fixtures can now attach effectively anywhere
• The pumps are now significantly quieter during machine operation
  

Please note:

• Installing the Control Box onto a LumenPnP v2 or v3 requires major upgrades to the machine. Please reach out to our support team so that we can make sure you get exactly what you need!
• If you are installing the Control Box onto a LumenPnP v2 or v3 that already a Feeder Connection Kit installed, please be sure to also purchase the Feeder Cable Adapter.
